What is the difference between artist and designer?
In contemporary design, the roles have shifted.

By definition, an Artist is a person who does the work of painting, drawing and sculpting. A Designer is a person who visualizes a concept that is in the abstract form and prepares the blueprint. The innovation and blueprint come from the artist side, the immaginative, more open-minded side. The Artist is constantly unleashing ideas onto the world, while the balance of the Designer’s confines within the fine lines of principal makes it so that those ideas can be translated into something concise and professional.
The Designer helps the Artist make sense.

That is something I am constantly aware of in my practice,
balancing on the line between those two titles,
because in reality, both need one another to survive
